Designer Phillip Seagram has come up with an idea for a new type of public transit that appeals to lovers of everyday luxury and ultimate convenience, Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) technology will be standard in most major cities.
Reduced friction allows for higher speed and lower power consumption. As a result, commuter distances increase. What appears to be a singular tram is actually individual partitioned units allowing for a more private form of public transport. The segmented aspect of the Maglev cars allow for any private unit to have it’s own stop agenda, moving aside to allow the rest of the train to continue. Passengers disembark without inconveniencing other commuters.
