The Cabanon is a unique 74-square-foot micro-apartment in Rotterdam, designed by Beatriz Ramo and Bernd Upmeyer. This innovative space features an elevated bedroom accessed by a removable ladder, a combined living and kitchen area with hidden amenities, and a bathroom that connects to a spa area with infrared saunas and a whirlpool bath. While the designers don’t consider it a model for future housing, the Cabanon exemplifies how to maximize small spaces efficiently and stylishly.
