A playful mobile bedroom, inspired by a child’s vision, combines recycled materials and sustainable design to create a flexible, eco-friendly space perfect for modern living.

The mobile bedroom is a creative response to both sustainability and a child’s imagination. Designed by Luzarraga and Muino, the bedroom was inspired by their daughter Roma’s request for her own space. Featuring a sloping roof, yellow door, and wheelbarrow base, it mimics a child’s drawing of a house.

This unique structure rests on wheels, allowing it to be moved within their converted 400-square-meter industrial home. It’s built with eco-friendly materials, including recycled wood, concrete blocks, drywall, and cotton insulation. These upcycled elements not only minimize environmental impact but also challenge traditional construction practices.

The mobile bedroom redefines creative, sustainable living, proving that eco-friendly design can be as playful as it is functional. Would you consider a mobile, sustainable bedroom for your home? Let us know below!
