Aria is a concept for a sleek, ergonomic window vacuum cleaner that transforms traditional cleaning tools with its innovative architecture, offering ease of use and modern aesthetics.
Designed by Andrea Tomaciello, Simone Guglielmetti, Tommaso Rossi, and Matteo Sagattini, Aria reimagines the traditional window cleaner, combining innovative functionality with a user-friendly and stylish design.
Redefined Architecture: Aria’s architecture represents a significant departure from conventional window vacuum cleaners. The vacuum system, traditionally located near the handle or base, has been relocated to the top of the device. This design change optimizes the tool’s weight distribution, making it easier to maneuver during cleaning. The dirty water tank, often a cumbersome feature in similar tools, is now housed within the handle. Accessible from the bottom, it is both removable and simple to empty, enhancing usability.
Seamless Design Integration: The motor is encapsulated within a cylindrical structure, while the handle features a superellipse shape. These elements blend seamlessly, giving the impression of a unified, single-body design. This sleek aesthetic not only makes the device visually appealing but also ensures ergonomic efficiency during use.
Versatile Cleaning Heads and Easy Charging: Aria includes two interchangeable heads, allowing users to clean both large surfaces and confined spaces effectively. This versatility ensures that users can tackle various cleaning scenarios with ease. Additionally, the device features a base for effortless charging, akin to modern gadgets like smartwatches and electric shavers. This convenience eliminates the need for cumbersome cords and keeps the device ready for use at any time.
Ergonomics and Accessibility: Unlike bulky cleaning tools that are often stored out of sight, Aria’s stylish design encourages users to keep it within easy reach. Its ergonomic design minimizes strain, enabling users to clean hard-to-reach areas without excessive stretching or discomfort. This thoughtful approach ensures that Aria not only performs well but also enhances the user experience
